c'mon, don't quit right after the finisher

Anyway, my hope is that there's a secret achievement for when you quit 5 or 10 or whatever matches online called "That's Not Gonna Work for Me, Brother"

Disclosure: I absolutely quit a match earlier this morning when I was getting whooped.

overheard at lunch

"I have this one set of contacts--I cheated on the eye exam..."

Why though? How do you benefit from that?

questions for the guy I am walking behind who has four tiny bags keychained together instead of using one backpack

How do you decide what items go in which bag?

Does weight distribution come into play there?

Did you buy all four at once or did you buy one and build out from there?

Do you have other small bags that you can swap in for mix-and-match sets?

Do you ever do just three bags? Or two? Or one, even?

Is it comfortable?

What do you do when you have something to carry that's bigger than each of the bags?

Do you have any masks in there? Because these smoke conditions are getting rrrrough out there

And then just a simple: Why?

Could it be?

Today I was walking behind a guy who had on a hi-vis vest that said BROSNAN SECURITY.

So I had to wonder...Pierce?

And if so, he's probably great at protecting you from satellites that can disable every electronic device on the planet, but less good at protecting you from run-by fruitings.

don't ya just hate it when

your first shot of the day is your best shot of the day?
I should also mention that I three- or four-putted after this.

I should also also mention:

A center for kids who can't drive good and want to learn to do other stuff good too

I just saw a car drive by with a logo for Blue Steel Auto School on the door.

I assume they don't teach you how to turn left?

Majors News

...in the sense of golf majors—specifically, the Masters.

While I don't support LIV Golf, because it seems like a bunch of sportswashing, I am enjoying the sort of nWo vibe of golfers "invading" a PGA event--if the nWo were already very rich golfers who sold out for even more money instead of two cool guys and Hulk Hogan.

Having said that, please let Brooks Koepka and anyone else from LIV who succeeds him* to enjoy a precipitous drop from the leaderboard—it's only fun to watch the heels succeed if they eventually fall to the faces!

*Exception: Harold Varner III — at least he's up front about it!
